Happy holidays, everyone! I owe you an apology for disappearing these past few months. I’ve been struggling with the worst writer’s block I’ve ever had (and being sick and unmotivated throughout October). But I’m back now, and I hope you’re all taking time to relax and enjoy the season! :)

🧬 Bridging the Gap Between Disability Theory and Clinical Practice
📍 Venue: Virtual (Zoom)
📅 Date: February 6th 2024
11:10am–12:30pm PT / 2:10–3:30pm ET / 20:10-21:30 CET
Clinicians receive little training in disability ethics, though disability intersects in critical ways with clinical practice, particularly in specialties concerned with the nervous system. Please join us for a virtual panel in which we will explore different theoretical approaches to disability and what clinicians need to know about this evolving body of scholarship.
Featuring two leading philosophers, Dr. Sara Goering and Dr. Ally Peabody Smith, alongside clinicians Dr. Monica Lemmon and Dr. Philipp Kellmeyer, this discussion will bridge the conceptual and practical aspects of disability theory, including insights for clinical practice.
